Valantin married Jules at the end of XIX century. At the end of the next century the granddaughter of Valantin will fall in love with a young man. Between these two events, men and women will meet, will love, will get together and procreate in order to build a family tree which will spread its branches into eternity. Written in a beautiful and poetic language, the novel "Eternity" is a small pearl in the necklace of good French literature and a true ode to life and mother women. The book has a wonderful film adaptation with Audrey Tautou, Melanie Laurent and Bérénice Bejo (director Tran Ahn Hung).
Alice Ferney
Alice Ferney, born in Paris in 1967, studied business management and combines her life as a novelist with that of a professor at the University of Orleans. She is married, is the mother of three children and had written six highly acclaimed novels so far.
