Neli Goranova

Neli Goranova was born in the town of Berkovitsa, Montana region. She completed her secondary education in Sofia, and her higher education at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", specialty "pedagogy".

She worked as a teacher, pedagogue-psychologist, organizer of cultural events, director of a children's institution, editor-in-chief of the publishing house for children's literature "Slancho". She is currently the chief expert "Theatres" in the Directorate "Culture" of Sofia Municipality. She authored ten children's books, two children's plays ("March Tale" and "The Mad Clock"), numerous scenarios for children's events and texts for children's songs, poetry. She is also an editor of poetry books and prose. 

Goranova is the creator of the National competition for children's author's fairy tale "I will tell you a fairy tale" of Sofia Municipality.

She is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Writers and the Union of Bulgarian Journalists.
