Kürşat Başar (1963) is a TV presenter, a journalist and a columnist. He started his career as a writer in the 1980s. His debut collection of stories has been awarded with the Turkish prestigious literary prize “Haldun Taner”, and the subsequent four novels and two publicistic books make him more popular throughout Turkey.
