The collection (a novella and eight short stories) takes us into a paradoxical and aestheticized world of masks, labyrinths and divergent paths, where every fork is a move away from the exit and closer to the center. A world where the real, the imagined, and the dream merge, the creative impulse is a cry of pain, and the questions remain scattered in space. In the novella, which gave the book its title, the creator is entangled in the threads of his plots and painfully searches for the limits of the written word, as well as his own essence.
The stories in "The Heart of the Labyrinth" seek a way out for their readers, opening multiple passages for understanding and interpretation, and invite readers to start a dialogue about meaning: of art, of words, of memory, of Time.
