The book "Rosary. In the Recesses of Memory" is a string of diverse memories of the author - about her family, her childhood and youth, historical events, reflected by her childhood eyes, about various events from her everyday life and the way of life of some interesting people she knew. Paintings from former Sofia come to life, the voices of Dora Gabe, Elisaveta Bagryana, Nikola Furnadzhiev, Petar Dinekov, Angel Karaliychev, Toncho Zhechev and other prominent writers and literary critics are heard. In the chaotic rosary of memories, the historically significant events and the everyday life are casually intertwined, building the image of a given time and the diversity of life.
Corresponding Member of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Milena Georgieva Tsaneva was born in 1930 in Sofia. Daughter of the literary critic Acad. Georgi Tsanev and the poet Penka Tsaneva-Blenika. Literary historian and critic in the field of Bulgarian literature after the Liberation. Author of 14 books and numerous studies and articles. Long-term lecturer at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”, within the period 1980–1993 she was Head of the Department of Bulgarian Literature. For two decades, she worked at the Institute of Literature - BAS.
