How many are the discoveries that contribute to the quality of our lives? Inventions such as the phonograph and the record-player (1877) the incandescent bulb by Thomas Edison (1879) the shaving blades, invented by Gillette (1901) in order to substitute dangerous razors, the zipper (1913) the pen (1938), the safety belt (1959) or the roundabouts (1960) are just some of the examples.
All of them, absolutely all, are the result of creativity of someone who felt the need to improve their lives and the lives of millions of citizens around the world.
Fortunately, creativity is not an exclusive possession of any profession - it is the essence of many of them.
