This French-Bulgarian dictionary is based on the long experience of representatives of the Department of Romanic Philology at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski "
The glossary covers about 65,000 words from all stylistic registers as considerable space is given to the lexical peculiarities of the varieties of French language in Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Africa and islands in the Indian Ocean, and in different areas of France as well.
The specialized vocabulary includes terms from the fields of humanities, science, economy, art, religion, engineering, construction, law, medicine, biology, geography, military science and sport. There are also more private areas such as botany, zoology, marine and yachting, hunting, fashion and cooking.
