After a wrong number dialed a young man finds himself in a strange world that gradually fills before his eyes with strange objects and people. Each subsequent step proves to be unpredictable and sometimes terrifies him, sometimes astonishes him.
"The Other Dream" is a psychological novel in the disguise of fiction. Or a truly fantastic adventure whose ultimate goal is the return to the familiar reality. What happens when we entrust our memory and desire to technology? Can we continue living in the world we know? Or we will find a new one? "The Other Dream" is an intimate story about the time in which the future imperceptibly has become part of everyday life, the unseen unknown has started managing every human activity and the distances between the minds and hearts seem endless.
Vladimir Poleganov (b. 1979) studied clinical psychology and creative writing at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ". His story "The Well" won second prize at the National Short Story Competition "Rashko Sougarev." In 2015, "The Birds" was included in the anthology "Best European Fiction" by Dalkey Archive Press. His works have been published in various magazines and online platforms in Bulgaria and abroad. He authored the short story collection "Deconstruction of Thomas S."
