Glenn Doman

Glenn Doman is a physical therapist and a pioneer in the field of child brain development. In 1955 he founded the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential (IAHP), a non-profit organization providing teaching programs and books designed to improve and accelerate the mental and physical development of normal as well as brain-damaged children. The IAHP was originally set up to develop the capabilities of brain-damaged children through intense programs of mental and physical stimulation.

Doman’s revolutionary treatment program was called “The Glenn Doman Method” or “The Doman Method”. Doman International proudly honors Glenn and his contributions to humankind by recognizing him for his dedication and calling our work “The Doman Method”. Through Glenn’s groundbreaking work in child development, thousands of children on six continents diagnosed with Autism, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, epilepsy, learning difficulties, ADD/ADHD, as well as Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome) and other genetic abnormalities, have been helped by the Doman Method.
