Еvgenii Lukin is a popular Russian science fiction writer. He was born on March 5, 1950 in Orenburg. Son of artists, he often changed his residence, before settling in Volgograd. Lukin's free thoughts brought fame to his works: his first novel was stopped in the middle of printing in 1981. Lukin likes to quote the memorable phrase of Dostoevsky that there is nothing more fantastic than reality itself.
