Awards – Professional Recognition and Incentive for New Accomplishments

Not surprisingly, Colibri is the only Bulgarian publishing house, which had received the Special Prize "Bronze Lion" three times. The authoritative “Contemporary European Fiction” series had won several nominations for “Hristo G. Danov” national award and deservedly got it in 2013. Our writers and translators have high qualifications and extensive experience; they are winners of prestigious national and international awards. On 6th of November 2014 Colibri won the title BG Site of the year in “Culture and Art” category. BG Site competition is one of the most important competitions for web projects in Bulgaria and this year was its 15th edition.

Distribution and Delivery of Books Abroad

Colibri is the first Bulgarian publisher that began distribution and delivery of books through Amazon for our compatriots in Canada and the United States. Now the Bulgarian community in Europe and overseas is well informed about all the titles in our catalogue which are published in Bulgarian language. Our goal is to make native culture accessible to all Bulgarians living outside the country.
