The Rain Man
Ingmar Carlsson is a grumpy old man who lives in a small country town in Sweden, doesn't communicate with anyone and refuses to follow the unwritten rules of the local community. After losing his beloved wife, the only thing that gives meaning to his life is tending to her large rose garden.
However, roses need water, and not a drop of rain has fallen since the beginning of summer. Ingmar decides to use the faucet in his backyard and soon discovers a strange connection ̶ every time he turns it on to water the flowers, it rains over his town. His incredible abilities fill him with feverish excitement and he begins to use them to annoy his neighbors and play tricks on them. Very soon, the word of his superpower spreads…
Jonas Karlsson
Jonas Karlsson (born 11 March 1971) is a Swedish actor, playwright and author.
He is known to the Swedish public for his roles in the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm and his film roles, and in 2007 he also debuted as a writer. He is the author of 4 collections of short stories and 3 novels. For three of his books he received the award named after Ludvig Nordström. Some critics identify Karlsson as a follower of surrealism.
