This new collection includes more than 6 000 Bulgarian proverbs and sayings from the whole country, selected out of respected publications by P. R. Slaveykov, Nayden Gerov, etc.

Prof. Stephana Stoikova is a researcher of the Bulgarian folklore and popular culture, an author of numerous scholarly and popular publications and collections of authentic folklore recordings.
