I Never Existed Before
Ana and Alex are a worldly couple that even the most well-meaning would envy. They are beautiful, successful in their careers, parents of grown twins. But underneath their seemingly effortless and glamorous lives rage untamed passions.
How did Ana, a professor of neurology, end up in a monastery near Varna, and her appearance spark a series of monk suicides? Is it possible for a choirboy in a self-taught group to become a prophet? And who is the heir whose fate draws people from the underworld, a lawyer and a children's writer into a common cause? Where do science and mysticism meet?
“I Never Existed Before” is a novel of inner change, an intimate and honest story of love, pain, and loneliness. Some may also find autobiographical elements in it - despite the author's explicit disclaimer that the book is not about her. This is the story of a sensitive woman searching for light in her own darkness, accepting her vulnerability, overcoming her fears, and finding her way to a deeper understanding of herself.
