Algot, Anna Stina and the Water of Life

This time, Jonasson takes us to Sweden in the mid-19th century—a time of famine and misery. The Ulsson family runs a pig farm in the middle of the lands of the malicious and envious Count Bilkegren. After the death of the swineherd, the count decides that the time has come to get his hands on his property – and he is willing to do anything to get it.
