The Narcissistic Perverts
In the first edition of his book, which quickly became a bestseller, the author examines a very important social problem, namely communication and, above all, the failures in it that, unfortunately, many of us encounter in our daily lives.
The narcissistic perverse personality is not a monster from another world, but always "one of us" whom bad examples—primarily from parents—incorrect upbringing, and abuse have turned into a victim and then into an executioner of the people who had the misfortune to cross his path.
With many examples from his practice as a psychotherapist, who has helped many people overcome the devastation caused by contact with "perverse narcissists," the author shows the causes, manifestations, and characteristics of this type, as well as ways to recognize them and free oneself from their harmful influence. As Jean-Charles Bouchoux concludes: "It is up to each of us to work on ourselves, to discover in the world the human beings who can be dangerous to us (...). And for the victims, first to heal, rebuild, and then protect themselves. And then, yes, forgiveness is something divine and can make possible a métanoïa, a new birth.
