Stories nd Short Novels
This edition is based primarily on the selection made by Georgi Stamatov himself in the fiction books he published. In chronological order are included his most representative works from the collections: Selected Essays and Stories (1905), Stories. Volume I (1929), Stories. Volume II (1930) and Dust (1934). Some of the stories are republished for the first time since their first publication.
The book presents the development of the writer as a narrator and the construction of his specific writing style - from the more elaborate, classical narrative forms to the short story in "telegraph style" - Stamatov's trademark.
