Theory of Literature. The New Century
Surrounded by discussions of metamodernism, cosmodernism, transhumanism and other "isms", we realize how imperceptibly literary studies have conquered territories that give them the right to be called current and modern science. And indeed, they are already wondering how climate change is reverberating in fiction, what will happen to our bodies in the future, how social media is restructuring society, and what the new ethical bets of the times are. These are just some of the topics covered in the second volume of Theory of Literature, this time dedicated to the new century.
The book is intended for students, but also invites all readers intrigued by the problems that the current situation puts for discussion to the humanities.
