April 30, 2010, 19:00, cafe-bookstore "Penguins" - Frédéric Beigbeder, world-famous French author whose novels have been translated into 34 languages including Bulgarian, was invited by the biggest mobile operator M-tel as a guest of honour at the ceremony of the Annual Journalist Awards M-Tel Media Masters'2010 on April, 30th in Sofia. He met the public and presented his newest book in Bulgarian, "Holiday in a Coma", published by Colibri. The event took place in the Penguin's bookshop near the Sofia University and hosted over 500 young people.

The French Institute in Sofia, Colibri Publishers and Paradox Publishers had the privilege to invite bulgarian public on September 29 at 6 p.m. to the presentation of Nancy Houston's books Journal of Creation (essay, Colibri 2008) and Lignes de faille (novel, Paradox, 2008), translated into Bulgarian. October 7, 2007. The famous French author Andreï Makine, Russian by birth, visited Bulgaria. His French Testament, published by Colibri, is an extraordinary book which swept all before it in the French literary world: the Prix Goncourt, the Prix Médicis and the Prix Goncourt des Lycéens. The meeting with the author took place in the French Cultural Institute.

May 31-June 3 2007. France’s most widely read author Bernard Werber visited Bulgaria as Colibri’s guest for the Spring Book Fair. Together with the French Cultural Institute.

March 27-28, 2007. Alicia Gimenez Bartlett (Lumen’s award for best Spanish author for 1977) visited Bulgaria at Colibri’s and the Instituto Cervantes Sofia’s invitation.

March 3, 2007. The emblematic figure of independent world cinema Wim Wenders was the guest of honour of the 11th International Sofia Film Fest where his book Feeling of A Place was presented at a meeting with him.
