The Youth of the Wizard

Soviet Union has long been in history, but Russia continues to fall apart. Wizards of the small town Bakluzhino struggle quietly but persistently against his opponents from the regional center Suslov and local political opponents - orthodox communists and comsoworshippers. Built as a series of short stories, the novel introduces us to the future president of the independent Bakluzhino, young wizard Gleb Portnyagin, beginner in the field, and his mentor, the legendary magician Ephraim Nehoroshev.

About the Author
Evgenii Lukin

Еvgenii Lukin is a popular Russian science fiction writer. He was born on March 5, 1950 in Orenburg. Son of artists, he often changed his residence, before settling in Volgograd. Lukin's free thoughts brought fame to his works: his first novel was stopped in the middle of printing in 1981. Lukin likes to quote the memorable phrase of Dostoevsky that there is nothing more fantastic than reality itself.
