After his girlfriend has left him, twenty-eight-year-old Justin moves back to his parent’s house and finds himself in the company of his seventy-tree-year-old father Sam Halpern. His father has always said everything directly and he has always meant the things he was saying: he swears like a trooper and he’s not ashamed of the fact that he tells every thought that crosses his mind. So, Justin, willing to become a writer, starts writing down the boners that come from Sam’s mouth and twittering them. The number of readers of his blog increases a lot till 14 January 2011 when the fan list already contains 1 900 000 names. The quotations turn into a whole book with memoiristic character entitled “Sh*t My Dad Says”.
